The entire package was very well organized and the guide was very helpful.
I was doubtful to take the hike as I don’t consider myself as a fit person.

Detail Itineraries
01:30 – 03:30 | Pick Up from the Hotel
We will pick you up at around 1.30 am at the Lobby and drive you to Mount Batur.
Please note: Free Pick up Areas, Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Umalas, Ubud, Kintamani, Legian, Canggu, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua Area only. Additional charges IDR 500,000/car for other areas.
03:30 – 04:00 | Morning Tea or Coffee before start Trekking
The weather is really cold in the morning at Mount Batur. A cup of hot tea or coffee will help to warm you up.
04:00 – 06:00 | Start Hiking Mount Batur (Approx. 2 Hours)
The hike usually take 2 hours for a fit person to climb. But rest assure, even if you are not to fit, the climb isn’t that difficult.
You are welcome to ask for short break in between the hike. Our guide will be happy to make the trekking as comfortable as possible for you.
06:00 – 06:30 | Enjoy the Sunrise from the Peak of Mount Batur
Congratulations! You’ve done it and reach the top of Mount Batur. Enjoy the scenery and breath in the fresh air as the sun start peaking over the horizon.
This is one of the most beautiful sunrise you will experience in your life!
06:30 – 07:00 | Snack at the Top (Steam Eggs & Banana)
While you are enjoying the view, our guide will prepare the snacks by steaming them on the volcano. Get your phone out to record this unique meal preparation technique!
07:00 – 09:00 | Climb Down Back to the Lake Batur
Once you are done, we will start going back down to the start point. Usually the trip will be faster compared to the time needed to hike the mountain.
09:00 – 09:30 | Get back to the Car and Drive to the Coffee Plantation
The Coffee Plantation is a bonus from us and is not a compulsory trip. If you are too tired already, please let our driver know and we can skip the Coffee Plantation tour and head back to the Hotel instead.
09:30 – 10:30 | Visiting the Coffee Plantation
You will be allowed to tour the Coffee Plantation and try samples of coffee produced on the area.
You can purchase additional food and beverages as well in here.
10:30 – 13:00 | Head Back to Your Hotel

Best Company to Accompany up the Mount Batur
I really can’t recommend LiburanBali enough. A driver picked us up at 1:30am from my hotel and drove me to the foot of Mount Batur.
We met our guide, Made who is really friendly and speak good English. He really help me by giving me tips along the hike.
At the summit he helps took amazing photos for us, and help prep a perfectly steamed egg and fruits.

IS MOUNT BATUR HARD TO CLIMB?
Mount Batur is approximately 1,717 meter above the sea level. Most climbers regard it as an easy climb up the mountain.
However, if you are not fit enough to climb, you can always ask our guide to stop for a break.
Please note that the hike usually takes about 2 hours, and you will need to be at the top by 6 am to get the best view of the sunrise.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR SUNSET TREKKING AT MOUNT BATUR?
A proper hiking boots or shoes is highly recommended. Please don’t wear stylish shoes or sandals.
And, don’t forget to bring sweater or jacket as well!
